With the types of games that teenagers might play having strong graphics is necessary to get the most out of the game experience.

Nintendo Wii offers a different kind of gaming experience. When Wii first came out it was highly popular for its ability to allow gamers to move around while in game play. That means that many of Wii`s games require gamers to move their hands, arms and body in order to move through the game. The system requires people to move around the characters and features in the games using a sense of movement. This has been a big hit with kids and parents as parents love the way that it seems like their kids are up and moving and not just playing video games.

The Xbox360 allows consumers to play DVDs right on the Xbox console. This makes it a great feature for anyone who wants to play movies and games right on the same system. Saving space on the TV stand is always a popular as people tend to have smaller spaces to work with.

The Xbox360 has been known for having problems. There are several things that have been known to go wrong with this system that requires it to be sent away for repair. Many Xbox360 users have had to go weeks and months without a console as they wait for them to be repaired.

Nintendo Wii offers games that help adults and teenagers to lose weight. There are many fitness programs that assess or fitness level and allow you to stay on track with great fitness goals. There are also many games that address sports of different kinds from summer to winter, where participants have to get up and move in order to compete in the game.

While both systems are amazing it is really up to individual gamers to decide which one is better suited for them. If getting up and moving to the Nintendo Wii sounds great or playing high quality Xbox360 fighter games sounds appealing then choosing a system based on your interests might be just the thing needed for making a good choice.

Xbox 360 is a fine system that has lots of powerful games. It has been around for a few years and continues to come out with excellent games and new consoles. There are three different kinds of Xbox`s available to choose from depending on what kind of gaming you will be doing.

The three types of Xbox`s that are being offered; the 360 arcade version, the Elite and the Limited Edition Elite. All three of them are differently priced with the arcade being the cheapest and the Limited Edition Elite being the most expensive. The difference between the consoles is the hard drive space available, but generally all three can do the same things.

The Arcade version is able to play music, store music and games, stream information right off of a PC, record live TV, have parental control options that can be set for kids, and is able to connect with the internet.

The Elite is able to do the same things as well as having a 120hard drive, supports 720p and 1080 in high definition and 16:9 in wide screen. It has a massive hard drive that is able to have surround sound, three core processors and has an HDMl port where the cables need to be purchased separately. The limited edition version has a 250MB of space which is the biggest of its kind. The expensive version also comes with two games.

The graphics on an Xbox 360 are clear and crisp. Anyone who buys a system will enjoy the graphics and the HD color in the picture quality. The surround sound system means that when the volume is up, that the whole game plays around you making you feel like you`re at a real arcade.

The system has been out for years, and while initially there were some problems, the problems now have been weaned out and the system is stronger than ever. Borderlands – Game Overview

Posted by valeri on Tuesday Feb 9, 2010

This article has been bought to you by Frankie Johnson. In his spare time he likes to write about the many secrets involved when you try to Unlocking Wii.

Borderlands is a fairly new game that came out in October of 2009. It was developed by Gearbox Software and designed for three systems; Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Windows. The game holds some amazing features that develop it into a role playing game. You can play alone or with up to two players on a screen split. The game can also be played online with up to four people.

The game begins as a first person shooting type game. The character is allowed to build on its skills and merit as it pursues through the role type playing game. Players can choose one of four characters there is the; Solder, Siren, Hunter and Beserker. And each character offers something different and unique to it as well as having its own special weapons.

Players earn rewards through gathering experience points and reward items. They earn points by killing foes and completing in game challenges and missions. As players gain experience they can specialize their skills and then future skill points can be allocated among the different specialized skills making them stronger.

At first characters have to walk around through their world but as time passes and the character becomes more experienced, they can eventually access two person vehicles and combat in vehicle to vehicle fights as they struggle with other foes. And eventually a fast transit system emerges between the worlds.

In combat a player can take damage if their shield is destroyed or depleted and it is affecting health. They can simply be revived by another player or attempt to kill a foe to achieve a second chance.

The game is started with players having two weapons but can eventually grow to four weapons as the game progresses. New weapons can be found either dropped by enemies, found in chests, sold at vendors or won as a reward for completing a mission.

The game uses a procedural content creation system to make weapons and items that can alter, fire power, role of fire and accuracy. A color coated scale is used to indicate type of weapon or item and its content. It is estimated that there are over 17 million variations of weapons available. It can also change the characteristics of various enemies that a player may face. That means that a specific species might be able to do varying things and have different abilities from each other that always keep you on your toes. Those features alone can make it very exciting for anyone playing the game.

When the game is being played on line, the game follows the host character while still rewarding other active players for completing missions. That way the host is always in control and can make the rules and instructions for mission choices. When playing with multiple players the game can automatically alter the state of generated enemies which help to balance out the game for all players.

The story line is fresh and exciting as players have to battle through a world and tackle missions as they pop up. The entire mission is based on finding a vault and keeping it safe as well as making sure that it stays closed forever. Many people love the way that they can begin as one character but then build on that person through personal achievements. The character from the beginning of the game will look much different toward the end as skills might have changed and weapons diversified.

Xbox 360 – Fun Gaming Packed In A Box

Posted by valeri on Tuesday Feb 9, 2010

This article has been bought to you by Frankie Johnson. In his spare time he likes to write about the many secrets involved when you try to Unlock Wii .

Developed in November 2005, the Xbox 360 gaming console is Microsoft’s solid answer to Sony’s PlayStation. Having already sold 20 million units worldwide, it is still proving to be popular among gaming freaks. Designed by the Hers Experimental Design Laboratory Inc. of Japan and Astro Studios of USA, the Xbox 360 is a fine product of its kind. It is available in two different types.

One is the Xbox 360 and the other is the core system. The Xbox 360 pack houses an Ethernet connectivity cable, a headset, a HD AV cable, a media remote, removable hard drive and a wireless controller whereas the core system has an AV cable and a wired controller. Being the powerful machine that it is, it has all the capacities to compete with other major brand of gaming consoles.

The Xbox 360 gaming console is a great improvisation over the original Xbox built in 2001. As mentioned above, for people who really want to own an Xbox 360, to have a chance to choose from its available models according to their budget, it is a good option. There is a basic core version available which comes with wired controller and composite AV cable but you surely can move on to buy the other peripherals, as and when your budget allows. But, if you are someone who can afford to buy the whole system at once, then you can be advised to go for the Xbox 360 pack. The Xbox 360 gaming console allows up to four wireless controllers to function on one console. This can provide the user with a real thrill of gaming with three other players concurrently.

The uses of the Xbox 360 gaming console are multiple in nature. It can introduce you to a fine world of digital entertainment. Armed with the capacity of enhancing your music and movies, it can magnify its sound to soft or loud. If you attach it to your TV, you can take the advantage of its high definition TV resolution to the maximum. Games that can be absolutely relished on the Xbox 360 are: Dead or Alive 4, King Kong, Call of Duty 2 and Need for speed Most Wanted. These games are really considered as must haves for those who own the gaming console.

However, there is one minor disappointment in store for Xbox fans. Some games like Madden NFL 06 and NBA Live 06, which run exceedingly well in the original Xbox, do not run that amazingly in the Xbox 360 version. The audio and video effects are not up to the mark when these games are played on the latest model. Microsoft needs to pay immediate attention to this concern, which might become a potential reason of a deal breaker in future days.

Another very alluring advantage that the Xbox 360 gaming console has to offer is the family settings feature. This feature has become a favorite among parents who can now protect their children from unpleasant contacts. This control feature performs two functions in the gaming console. They are allow/restrict access to offline games/movies and access to online contact and content. All said and done, the Xbox 360 has everything in it to become a favorite of gaming freaks across age groups.

Ps3 Vs Xbox 360 – Just A Matter Of Taste

Posted by valeri on Tuesday Feb 9, 2010

This article has been bought to you by Frankie Johnson. In his spare time he likes to write about the many secrets involved when you try to Unlock Wii.

Both units have their positives and negatives, but what may be a `positive` for one consumer is a `negative` for another. Because both systems provide a high-quality gaming experience, it just comes down to personal preference in order for each user to decide which one is better.

While a true video game fan may not see price as the biggest deciding factor, in today’s economy it has become quite important. Playstation 3 sells for $399 for the 80 GB version and $499 for the 160 GB version. The extra $100 for the additional space is hardly worth it, as if you really and truly need all that room, you can buy an even larger external drive and install it for less than $100. The Xbox 360 is significantly cheaper at $299 for 60 GB and $399 for 120 GB. The differences in gigabytes are slight enough to not really matter.

While price is obviously an objective criteria and the Xbox comes out cheaper, performance is a bit more subjective. On the technical side, the Xbox 360’s GPU has more power than that of the Playstation 3. But, if you prefer the look of the graphics on the Playstation 3, then it does not matter which one is more powerful. What some experts are saying is that the Playstation 3 actually has more potential. The Xbox may have hit its limit in terms of its graphics and design but the Playstation 3 still has room to grow. Again, the technical details may not matter as much as personal preference.

In 2007, games developed by third-party customers worked much better on the Xbox 360 than on the Playstation 3. The graphics were of noticeably lower quality, even objectively speaking, on the Playstation 3. Over the past couple of years, this pattern has improved slightly. Some games look almost identical on both platforms by this point, but the greater power of the Xbox 360 does give it an advantage, especially when it comes to games that are developed specifically for use on multi-platforms.

While no new games are ever guaranteed to be free from bugs, Playstation 3 games tend to be shipped with more bugs than Xbox 360 games. Patches are generally available, but it may be annoying to some users to have purchased a game that does not work quite right and then to have to wait for the patch to be available and installed.

It can be argued that a game console is really only as good as the games that you can play on it. In the past, Xbox 360 consistently had more and better games available for its users. Part of the reason behind that may have been that it was introduced earlier so there was more time for games to be developed. Now, Playstation 3 is catching up.

Both consoles provide the user with the option to play online against others. General consensus is that the online experience using the Xbox 360 is superior to that of the Playstation 3. A reason for this, or possibly a consequence, is that fewer people buy Playstation 3 games so there are fewer people playing online at any given time. There is a much larger and more active online community of Xbox 360 gamers.

Depending on your own personal preferences, you really cannot go wrong with either the Playstation 3 or the Xbox 360. Either is sure to give you a fun way to pass many a rainy afternoon.

Halo 3 – ODST – A Must Have Xbox Game

Posted by valeri on Tuesday Feb 9, 2010

This article has been bought to you by Frankie Johnson. In his spare time he likes to write about the many secrets involved when you try to Unlock Wii.

Halo 3: ODST is the newest game in the popular Halo series. Exclusively for the Xbox 360, it was released in September 2009, approximately 2 years after the release of Halo 3. Upon its release, the game quickly became the top-selling game for the Xbox 360 worldwide.

Originally, the game was developed as a small side project to give fans something new in between the release of Halo 3 and Halo: Reach. For this reason, instead of focusing on the characters that are familiar from the earlier Halo games, this game centers around the ODSTs, Orbital Drop Shock Troopers.

In the game, players take on the personas of these Orbital Drop Shock Troopers who are top human United Nations Space Command soldiers. Their job is to find out what happened to their missing comrades in the city of New Mombasa. The teammates have been separated from each other upon entering the city after a group of aliens attacked Earth, wreaking havoc and chaos.

As the game was in development, it evolved from a mini-game into a full-fledged full-length game. But, because it is played from the perspective of a different character than the other Halo games, it has a different and unique feel to it. It has elements of film noir with a jazz-inspired musical background theme. Despite, or perhaps due to, the deviations from the other Halo games, Halo 3: ODST has proven tremendously popular and has received mostly positive reviews.

At the start of the game, the player assumes the role of a soldier called “Rookie.” Rookie is tasked with finding his missing teammates and searches for clues. As clues are found and answers are revealed, the player then assumes the role of the missing soldier. The player has a lot of choice in terms of where to go and what to do, so the game is experienced differently for each player.

As missions are accomplished, additional characters are unlocked and players are able to choose which character they would like to be. Players also win medals for jobs well done and can track their score over time.

The game itself has a complicated story behind it that follows chronologically from the other games in the Halo series. In Halo 2, a group of alien races called the Covenant discovered the location of Earth and attacked the city of New Mombasa. While most of the attackers were repelled, one ship managed to land and then retreated, causing a shockwave that destroyed part of New Mombasa. Halo 3: ODST takes place in the aftermath of the shockwave while the Covenant is occupying the city.

The game begins as 4 ODSTs are planning an assault on the Covenant`s ship outside New Mombasa. A series of events occur, causing the ODSTs to crash and be separated. As Rookie, game players need to explore the city and sort through clues to find the missing ODSTs. The game is completed when everyone has been found safe and sound.

In addition to the exciting gameplay, there are some neat sound and special effects built into the game. Clearly the developers had fun putting it all together and the results are great.

Xbox 360 Vs PS3 – A Comparative Analysis

Posted by valeri on Tuesday Feb 9, 2010

This article has been bought to you by Frankie Johnson. In his spare time he likes to write about the many secrets involved when you try to Unlock Wii.

The Xbox 360 and the PS3 are both great systems, they look nice and cost about the same as each other. But several differences pull them apart revealing pros and cons that make them who they are. Fans of each system will stand behind their favourites and defend them to their honour.

If you ask anyone who owns an Xbox 360 they will tell you that their system rules and that the PS3 does not and that goes ditto for PS3 users. They saved and bought the system and are not about to have anyone criticize their decision making skills. And while each system has the ability to offer great things, they also may give off some negative as well, leaving which one is a better console up to the beholder.

The Xbox 360 is known for its great graphics and hard drive space. It is also loved for the amount of games that come out each year. The Xbox live is a fun little tool that allows you to chat with friends while you`re playing a game. You can create a profile that you can use when communicating with your friends and even see when your friends log on and what games they are playing.

Flaws with the Xbox 360 include a system that has been famous for breaking down causing fans to go without their machines for up to six weeks. It is also loud and remains loud even during movies creating a hum that may not be wanted during a quiet love scene. The movies are also not as crisp as the PS3. The system cannot be moved or rattled during game or movie play or chances of scratches are increased.

The PS3 is a sleek looking black shinny system. It looks amazing on a TV stand and features a popular Blu-ray system that is able to play any Blu-ray disc without getting scratched and with excellent quality. The system is also very quiet, so when you are watching movies all you hear is the movie sound. The system can connect with the Sony store to download some great movies and games to add to your memory space.

For some reason, new PS3 games come out after Xbox 360 games making fans have to wait continuously for the games they want. It is also slow to load movies where the process is painfully slow. There are also not as many games as its rival, leaving some people bored with the games they have.

The choice of which system is better for you depends on what you need. If you will be playing games not as quickly as someone more game savvy then the PS3 might be right for you. And if you like blu-ray movies and playing them on a system that is durable, then it is also the perfect choice.

For avid game users who love having games come out fast and in plentiful amounts then the Xbox 360 might be your choice. While it may play loud movies and have the chance of breaking into the many red ring of death fixes the pros might out way the cons for some. Making a choice might mean going into a game store and asking for some advice, a sales staff might be able to give you some insight into what you are looking for and need in a gaming system.

PlayStation 3 Vs Xbox 360 – Which One Stacks Up?

Posted by valeri on Tuesday Feb 9, 2010

This article has been bought to you by Frankie Johnson. In his spare time he likes to write about the many secrets involved when you try to Unlock Wii.

There are two kinds of people in this world; X box fans and PlayStation 3 fans and people that like both come few in between. And everyone has their own personal reasons for liking one more than the other, not to mention all the reasons why they don’t like the opposite gaming devise. But whatever the reasons for liking or disliking a particular console there are lots of things to distinguish them apart. There are certain features that make the Xbox amazing and features that make the PS3 pretty special as well. It’s a tough competition between the two, but considering how they sell, it doesn’t seem to be an issue either company is worried about.

There is always going to be some competition and some rival between two video game systems that go neck to neck. They compete from everything from the look of the console to how the game plays, movies play and what kind of games you can get for each system. There are pros and cons to each machine that make them each a bit different.

One difference that pulls them apart is that Xbox live is expensive it’s about fifty dollars for the year, while PS3 is free for networking. However Xbox offers a better way for people to play online together, allowing them to send messages back and forth, post profile information including recent game play, allowing the players to see who is logging in and they can send messages to players who are not even online yet. There is better interaction with players; in PS3 in order to send a message to a friend you have to close the game you are playing to do so, making it a tad inconvenient.

Another difference between the two systems is the games you can buy for each. For Xbox the games seem to come out faster than its rival PS3 who takes a few weeks to a few months to come out with the same game. Xbox 360 games also get rated a bit better than PS3 games. However it is easier to download games from Sony’s website then it is for Xbox fans. PS3 users will however argue that the graphics are better for them on the games.

The consoles between the two systems have another difference. They look and sound very different from each other. Xbox 360 is bulky and not very attractive; some might even say it looks like a toy. It is also very loud and will scratch games and movies easily if moved a bit. PS3 is black and shinny and very sleek. It looks nice on a TV stand and is super quiet. It is also capable of keeping movies and games safe during moving of the console.

Movies played on Xbox vary from how they look on PS3. That is because PS3 has a blu-ray player. It can offer superb picture quality and enhanced color usage. While Xbox 360 fans have to watch a movie listening to a noisy fan the entire time.

The PS3 takes a win for its look over the Xbox 360. It looks amazing and sound quiet. It is also easier to move and can fit into many TV stand better because it is less bulky.

Xbox 360, PS3, Nintendo Wii – Which One To Pick?

Posted by valeri on Tuesday Feb 9, 2010

This article has been bought to you by Frankie Johnson. In his spare time he likes to write about the many secrets involved when you try to Unlock Wii.

When most people head out to purchase a video game system, they may think that they are all the same. Tiny consoles that play video games and cost lots of money. This is especially true for parents who are non gamers and simply buying it for their kids. However, video game consoles have come a long way. Technology has vastly improved and the consoles out now will knock you down with sheer amazement. There are differences in the PS3, Nintendo Wii and the Xbox360 that are worth mentioning. The differences might have an impact on which one you will want to buy.

Nintendo Wii is a popular system because it lets people get active with it. They use the controls to move the characters around on screen and use them again to play sports and compete in challenges. Every Wii system comes with a sports package. The package has a series of sport games and the games are played using the Wii remotes.

So for bowling for example; a gamer has to use their entire hand and arm to roll the ball and virtually swing it to knock down the pins. The controllers are motion censored and can tell how fast your moving the remote and at what angle. This type of technology has made the Wii very popular with all age groups. Parents absolutely love the idea that their kids are playing video games but moving about at the same time, as to not put a dent in the couch. The Wii also has lots of kid and family friendly game, making it a worthwhile investment.

The Xbox360 is a great system that has excellent graphics and a modern system for communicating online with friends. The games designed for this system tend to be older more advanced games, but with the superb quality of the graphics they make an excellent choice bundling with the system. For gamers who like to play online with their friends, the Xbox360 allows people to link up with them and chat live using headphones.

The PS3 is a system that is known for having a blu-ray system attached to it. It is a system that looks nice with a shiny black exterior. People love having it on their TV stands because it looks so nice. People can also justify the purchase because they can claim that it is also a Blu-ray player. The games for this system tend to be for older kids but there are a few younger games. The games for this system have also been noted to take longer to come out then other systems.

Each system has minor flaws with them, for example the Xbox360 is known for older games and has had a bad reputation for overheating issues. The Nintendo Wii is a great family game, but not the best for online communicating with friends and the PS3 is a great system but is said to take a while to load games and moves and the games are slower to come available.

As all systems have pros and cons it may be hard to decide which one to get. You can always try each one out at a games store and see what you like better. Also take a look at the games shelves and see which system has more games that you are personally interested in.
